Focus: Personal and Professional AI Adoption
Tools: Lovable, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and More
Role: Prompt Engineering, Writing, Development, Workflow Automation, Experimentation
Timeline: Ongoing — 2022 to Present
It began with curiosity and experimentation. Nearly three years ago, I started exploring how artificial intelligence could enhance creativity, efficiency, and personal growth. What began as casual experimentation with ChatGPT evolved into a deeply integrated part of my professional and personal workflows, spanning design, writing, research, and even pizza-making.
Today, AI is not just a tool I use, it’s my partner. From writing and publishing children’s books to automating my weekly dough calculations, I’ve discovered new ways to apply AI to real problems while learning how to write effective prompts and iterate toward the right outcome.
In addition to using conversational tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity, I’ve also created rapid prototypes using Lovable to test ideas before investing in full-scale development. This low-code, AI-assisted environment has allowed me to quickly validate UX flows and experiment with new concepts at a pace that would be impossible with traditional prototyping tools.
My approach to AI mirrors my design practice: research, test, refine, repeat. I quickly learned that the value of AI is determined by the quality of the question. I became skilled at writing detailed, goal-oriented prompts that balance context, tone, and desired outcomes. This ability to “think like AI” has improved not only my outputs but also my creative efficiency.
Through continuous experimentation, I’ve come to understand that AI is most powerful when guided by clarity, creativity, and curiosity. Knowing how to ask the right question, and in the right way, is a craft in itself. My understanding of prompt engineering allows me to treat AI not as an answer machine, but as a collaborator that amplifies human insight.
What excites me most is how AI enables small efficiencies that add up to significant impact. Whether streamlining UX research or transforming pizza dough science into code, these innovations demonstrate how technology can enhance both creativity and craftsmanship.
By bridging design thinking and AI, I’ve proven that innovation doesn’t require an enterprise platform, it begins with curiosity, a strong prompt, and the willingness to explore.
Integrating AI into my professional and personal life has expanded what’s possible in both realms. It’s made me faster, more strategic, and more imaginative. My experience has positioned me at the intersection of creativity and technology, a space where human intuition meets machine intelligence to create something new.
